MATLAB is developed by The Mathworks, inc. It is an interactive, integrated environment for numerical scientific computations and visualization, as well as symbolic computations, and others. MATLAB is known especially for its highly intuitive and interactive programming development and debugging environment which results in a relatively short development cycle compared with traditional compiled languages such as FORTRAN and C1. In this course we will learn the basics getting MATLAB started and using the fundamental functionalities like variables, arrays and matrices. Furthermore we deal with some exemplary visualization possibilities such as linear or surface plots.
The course is intended for users who have not yet gained experience with MATLAB.
