the section Support for Doctoral and Early Career Researchers (Ref. 43) of the department for Research Management and Funding (Abt. 4) of Universität Hamburg is organizing a digitalResearch Funding Day for the entire northern German region (aimed primarily at postdocs). On November 2, 2022, from 9 am to 5 pm, you will have the opportunity to find out about the various programs offered by renowned third-party funding agencies.
In the morning, you can attend lectures by the DFG, the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the DAAD, VW Foundation and KoWi (European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations) to get a more in-depth overview of the various funding opportunities. At noon there will be a lively discussion with the topic “Route to success: What do postdocs need today and tomorrow?”. In the afternoon, the third-party funders will offer workshops for small groups on specific funding programs.
The entire event will take place in English.
