Anlässlich des „International Day of Women and Girls in Science“ am 11. Februar stellt die Universität den amerikanischen Dokumentationsfilm „Picture a Scientist – Frauen der Wissenschaft“ über drei Professorinnen und ihren Kampf um Anerkennung, Respekt und Gleichberechtigung zur Verfügung. Die drei Wissenschaftlerinnen geben Einblicke in ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen über Diskriminierung, Sexismus und Rassismus im Wissenschaftsbetrieb.
Vom 11. Februar 2022, ab 16:00 Uhr bis zum 13. Februar 2022, 16:00 Uhr können Sie die bewegende, erschütternde und zugleich ermutigende Dokumentation unter diesem Link streamen.
Alle Wissenschaftlerinnen und Wissenschaftler der Universität Rostock bekommen bei Anmeldung mit ihrer eigenen E-Mail-Adresse unter dem Link von Eventbrite eine Bestätigungsmail (falls nicht, bitte unbedingt im Spam-Ordner nachschauen), ansonsten mit der Anmelde-E-Mail und dem selbst gewähltem Passwort zum Online-Ticket nochmals anmelden und ab Start des Events den Film ansehen.

On the occasion of the "International Day of Women and Girls in Science" on 11th February, the University of Rostock will host a screening of the American documentary film "Picture a Scientist", which is about three female professors and their struggle for recognition, respect and equality. These three women scientists share insights into their personal experiences of discrimination, sexism and racism in the science profession.
