“Building the Best” - A candid discussion on building a robust talent pipeline ensuring youth, early, mid-career and leadership engagement and development to address the current talent needs and gaps in building the best talent for the Sustainable Blue Economy in Atlantic Canada with a focus on National scale.”

Am Mittwoch, den 31.08. findet ein OTC Meet & Greet auf dem Südtstadt-Campus der Universität statt.
Special Guest: Tanya Lush
Director of Workforce Development bei Kanadas Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE)
Tanya wird um 16.00 Uhr im großen Hörsaal der Maschinenbau-Fakultät in der Albert-Einstein-Str. 2 einen Vortrag halten. Schwerpunkt bilden die verschiedenen Maßnahmen, die COVE ergreift, um dem stetig wachsenden Bedarf an Fachkräften in der maritimen Branche zu begegnen. Der Vortrag dient vor allem als Auftakt zum Netzwerken und Diskutieren.
Im Anschluss an den Vortrag wird es vor dem Hörsaal Getränke und Sitzmöglichkeiten geben, sodass noch genügend Zeit zum Austausch miteinander, mit Tanya und mit unseren Summer School TeilnehmerInnen geben wird. Letztere stoßen erst nach dem ersten Hackathon-Tag gegen 17 Uhr dazu, sollen aber die Gelegenheit bekommen, in ungezwungener Atmosphäre verschiedene Akteure in und um das OTC (besser) kennenzulernen.
