Bereits zum fünften Mal schreibt die Klaus Tschira Stiftung den Klaus Tschira Boost Fund aus. Dieser Stiftungsfonds ist den exzellenten Wissenschaftler*innen der Naturwissenschaften, Mathematik und Informatik gewidmet. Die Unterstützungsleistungen sind die folgende:
- flexible Fördergelder bis zu 80.000€ zur Schaffung von Freiräumen für eigene, riskantere sowie interdisziplinäre Projekte,
- Unterstützung beim Aufbau von (internationalen) Kooperationen und Netzwerken,
- gezielte Begleitung und Beratung zur professionellen und persönlichen Weiterentwicklung.
Ziel ist es, Karrierewege von (jungen) Wissenschaftler*innen in Deutschland flexibler zu gestalten, zu beschleunigen und eine frühe Unabhängigkeit zu fördern.
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich explizit an Postdoktorand*innen. 2023 werden 15 neue Fellows gefördert.

Also this year it's going to be announced a new call for the Klaus Tschira Boost Fund with the support of the Klaus Tschira Foundation. The program strengthens excellent scientists in the Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science through:
- flexible funding of up to 80,000€ to create free space for own, riskier as well as interdisciplinary projects,
- support in establishing (international) collaborations and networks,
- targeted support and advice for professional and personal development.
The program aims to make the career paths of (young) scientists in Germany more flexible, to accelerate careers and to promote early independence.
The call aims at Postdocs. In 2023, we will fund 15 new fellows. The application deadline is March 31, 2023.
