Services Centre students (S2)
With the establishment of the Service Center for Students, the support and counselling of prospective and current students at the University of Rostock has been reorganized and bundled in order to provide a contact point. The services offered by the Service Centre are primarily aimed at prospective students and students of the University of Rostock, and secondarily at the university management, internal UR cooperation partners and external UR cooperation partners with services for this customer segment.
The range of services includes
- Information and advice for prospective students with the aim of attracting students to UR
- Provision and implementation of the centrally responsible administrative processes or sub-processes for prospective students as well as for students during the entire course of study
- Information and advice for students in the introductory phase of their studies, during the course of their studies and during the transition to employment
- Provision of information and reference to services offered by internal and external cooperation partners
The Service Center is on the same hierarchical level as the departments of the Central University Administration and reports directly to the Chancellor.
