In order to facilitate your access to childcare in a KITA, a cooperation agreement between the University of Rostock and the Gesellschaft für Gesundheit und Pädagogik 
(GGP mbH).
The GGP provides comprehensive medical, social, educational and rehabilitative services. Among thee services you find four kindergardens. The aim of the cooperation is to enable university members in particular to obtain a place of care in a GGP institution.

How to apply for a kindergarden:

1. Registration in Rotock's KITA-Online-Portal 

If you want to apply for a GGP-KITA you need to register in the KITA-Online-Portal and fill out the form under point 2.

2. Fill out the application form

Please fill out the form completely and do not forget to mention that you are a member of the University of Rostock and apply for a childcare place on the basis of the cooperation agreement concluded. (GGP KITAs).

Offer to employees and sudents of the University of Rostock

In cooperation with Elternzeit - Rostocks Familienservice (formerly fambeki e.V.) we offer an opportunity of childcare in addition to KITAs. If students or employees have reconciliation-related care needs, the family office will check whether the university can pay for short-term childcare provided by Elternzeit-RFS.

Prerequisites for the financing of short-term-childcare by the university:

• You are a member of the University of Rostock
• the need must be justifiable and necessary for work reasons

How to proceed:

• Please contact the family office of the Univerity of Rostock..
• Fill out the Antrag zur Betreuungsfinanzierung and submit it to the family office

There are four KESS-rooms among the University 's facilities. (Kinder-, Eltern-, Spiel- und Studierzimmer). These are to make working or studying with children easier. Therefroe, the rooms offer diaper-changing tables, toys, books, stuffed animals and a playpen that can also be used as a bed.

To get access to the room, please make sure to contact the family office at least one day ahead of your visit. You can also get access for a longer period of time.

KESS Universitätsmedizin

Um die KESS-Zimmer nutzen zu können, melden Sie sich bitte bei uns im Familienbüro und lassen sich den Zugang über Ihre Mitarbeiter- bzw. Studierenden-Chipkarten freischalten.Das KESS in  der UMR wir zentral von der UMR freigeschaltet. Bitte melden Sie sich hierfür im Studiendekanat bzw. im Familienbüro.

Die KESS I und II sowie das KESS in der UniMedizin sind barrierefrei zugänglich. Das Kess III erreichen Sie über eine Treppe, den Kinderwagen können Sie jedoch im Gebäude abstellen. Es befinden sich in jedem KESS Wickelmöglichkeiten vor Ort.

Besides the child-friendly equiipment (high-chairs, play corners and diaper changing tables) the canteens offer reduced prices for children with a special child ID or for childrens meals.

Der Ausweis ist nur in Verbindung mit einer aktuellen Studienbescheinigung gültig und wird für Kinder bis zum vollendeten zehnten Lebensjahr ausgegeben. Die Ausgabe erfolgt in der
