The family office has been opened since March 2017

We are your central point of contact and mediation for all questions concerning the compatibility of study/work and family life. We help you finding your way around the university structures and support and advise you in the search for individual solutions regarding family, studies, work and caring for relatives.

Our provide support and advise for all students and employees of the University of Rostock. Consultation in the family office is free and, if desired, anonymous.

In addition to the measure that have been carried out since the certification as a family friendly university in 2009 the family office is proud to have promoted the following advantages for all members of our university:

• short-term supervision and holiday care for children offered through a cooperation with Elternzeit RFS gGmbH (formerly fambeKi e.V.)
• loyalty management for a structured re-entry after time off, such as parental or care leave
