Council
The council decides upon basic university issues. He decides, among others, on the basic rules and the election regulations of the university, elects the rector, the prorectors, the chancellor and the university council members and decides upon the appointment of honorary senators.
The council comprises of 22 representatives of the group lecturers and students and eleven representatives each of the groups academic staff and the group other staff members.
